ASK HERE PA reaches milestone!

By Library Development | April 20th, 2010 | Comment?

Ask Here PA has reached the 250,000 sessions mark!
During March, the service reached almost 10,000 sessions.   This growing resource has generated glowing comments from patrons.  Here’s a sample of the love:
“I think this site is wonderful. The librarians who answer my questions are always really helpful, and I do not know if I would survive research paper time in High School without this site. Keep up the amazingness :)
“Today was the first time I used this feature — IT IS AMAZING!  And I did not use it for something mundane and simple, but a legal reference book that is hard to find. I did not even have the name of it right — the librarian who helped me was VERY, VERY POLITE, very helpful, and while a current volume of the book was not available in any PA library he searched, he found me the phone number and website of the Bucks County Bar Association — who most certainly have the book and can help me out further. WHAT A GREAT SERVICE! This is wonderful! This service saved me easily 20-30 hours of solid work and countless hours of frustration. GO PA LIBRARIES! ASK A LIBRARIAN IS A VERY, VERY WORTHWHILE SERVICE!”
“I’m no critic but this website is 5 stars in my book. Farewell Google!”
“I love this site! It is so useful and the workers/librarians couldn’t be nicer! Thanks whoever invented this!”
“The service is very easy to use. The service is outstanding and I would use it again and again. Highly recommended! ***** 5 stars”
“This service is nothing short of miraculous. The librarians who support it are exceptional fact-finders. Thank you for making it available.”
“The fact that the service is answered by other library districts when one is closed makes it even more user friendly for those of us who access the site at inopportune times.”
