Steve Updegraff, Head of Transportation and Facilities Services at the State Library of Ohio, was recently honored with the 2009 Kent State University School of Library and Information Science Friend of the Year award. Steve received the award in recognition for his significant contribution during the relocation of the Kent State program in Columbus to the State Library of Ohio. Classes began with the 2008 summer with newly renovated 6100 square foot space featuring state of the art classroom facilities, conference and meeting areas, offices, and a technology laboratory.
