First presented in 2008, this award recognizes new school library leaders.  It’s a tangible “Well done!” for those stepping-up, taking-on leadership roles, and getting things done.

Who’s a likely candidate?  OELMA members who are. . .

• presenting at OELMA region workshops or other professional development sessions;
• volunteering at OELMA region events or Annual Conference; and/or
• taking a leadership role on OELMA committees or school district committees.

What’s  the nomination procedure?  Submit the following to OELMA’s office by April 15:

• Completed award application form; and
• Letter of recommendation highlighting nominee’s qualifications.
