By MaryAnn VanCura | April 12th, 2010 | Comment?

Those interested in developing the use of social media tools in their organizations, might be interested in meeting with NetSquared Twin Cities. Co-founders are Meg Canada, Hennepin County Library, and Ashley Schweitzer, Nonprofit Assistance Fund. For an example of one of their monthly events, see tomorrow’s event:  Digital Video for your Dot Org.

About NetSquared Twin Cities includes the following statements about the group:

  • NetSquared Twin Cities is the monthly gathering of nonprofit techies, communicators, Web developers, nerds, do-gooders, social media enthusiasts and others who are interested in helping nonprofits leverage the social Web in Minnesota.
  • We are affiliated with NetSquared, a project of Tech Soup.
  • We meet monthly to talk nptech, and think about ways to help nonprofits grow their capacity with social media.”

Those in greater Minnesota would have the option of joining or starting a local NetSquared group.
