More people than ever are using mobile devices for a wide variety of purposes including communication, Internet access, text messaging, and entertainment. It is important that libraries provide mobile services as handheld use increases.

To help librarians wade through the current, evolving, and future issues in mobile library services, Alliance Library System and LearningTimes are sponsoring the Handheld Librarian II Online Conference. This conference will include a series of keynote and featured speakers, a collection of available resources, discussion boards, and access to the recording of all live events for one year after the conference.
