LSTA Grant Update

LSTA Update: Murphysboro School District

By WJIL Project Team | January 15th, 2009 | Comment?

The Murphysboro School District is appreciative of the LSTA grant given to us in the amount of $10,048 to automate our two elementary libraries.  This will allow over 1,900 students and all staff members in the district to use the Shawnee System.

Currently we are weeding the libraries to prepare for the automation process.  We are also waiting for one of the libraries to have a circulation desk installed.  Once this has been accomplished, the systems will be connected to Shawnee and training for the actual automation can begin.
