Collection Development: Toss It
Description:
At some point, before you completely run out of space to shelve books and other library materials, you will have to decide when enough is enough. The items you buy have to earn their keep. If they are not being used or are worn out, they need to be removed so others that better appeal to the community can be purchased. This session centers on how to evaluate and weed your collection and is the last of three workshops in the beginning collection development series.
