2009 Information Literacy Summit

Session proposal submissions are now being accepted for the 2009 Information Literacy Summit. The summit, “Information Literacy By Any Other Name: Teaching & Learning in EVERY Library,” will be held March 31 at Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, April 17 at Illinois Central College in East Peoria, and April 27 at John A. Logan College in Carterville.

The 50-minute long breakout sessions will be interactive discussions relating to information literacy or library instruction. To be considered, email your session description (no more than 200 words) to Barb Rys or Leslie Warren for the March 31 session, Amy Glass for the April 17 session, or Judy Vineyard for the April 27 session. Submission deadline is Friday, November 21.
