After sitting in cardboard boxes in a storage closet for the past 15 years, more than 1,400 pieces of Franklin Roosevelt memorabilia have been photographed thanks to an LSTA Grant from the Illinois State Library. 

Items from the Jacobs and Lowery Collections of the Center for New Deal Studies at Roosevelt University were unpacked, digitally photographed, cataloged, and rehoused.  The digital images, and metadata about each item, will be available on-line beginning in September. 

These collections contain hundreds of campaign buttons and other campaign memorabilia as well as personal items that belonged to Roosevelt.  Roosevelt University is grateful to Secretary of State Jesse White and the Illinois State Library for making this project possible.
