Limestone and Bonfield students in grades 4-8 were treated to some very special presentations by Dr. Steven L. Layne, noted educator, author, and motivational speaker from St. Charles, Illinois.  Provided by the library’s LSTA Grant.

Dr. Layne spoke four times to various groups of students, as well as providing a Writing Workshop for a select group of thirty students from grades 6-8.  Dr. Layne has written picture books as well as books for our junior high readers.  Students were able to purchase some of Dr. Layne’s books at a considerable discount, as well as have the books signed by the author.  We all had a grand time!
