You may be selected to participate in a survey that will be conducted shortly by the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), an agency of the U.S. Congress, as part of a GAO review of the E-rate program.  We encourage you to participate in the survey, if requested, so GAO will be able to provide Congress with the best possible information on how the E-rate program is working for beneficiaries and what improvements may be needed to help it work better.

Schools and Libraries News Brief. April 18, 2008

The online Form 470 has been updated to permit filings for FY 2009 (July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010). Although most applicants won’t need to file their FY 2009 Form 470s until at least next fall, those with special RFP needs and/or particularly long procurement cycles can now do so. Applicants filing early Form 470s for FY 2009 are reminded that they should have written (albeit not necessarily approved) technology plans covering 2009-2010 before doing so.
