- Thanks to the Alliance Library System, every library in Illinois can now benefit from this series of workshops on Fundraising presented by ALS Special Projects Coordinator and RSA trainer John Howard. The workshops are designed to assist libraries in finding new means of supporting themselves as basic funding sources shrink.In this first session - ”The Basics,” – John covers the cost, potential return and benefits of various fund-raising approaches, sharing resources, and discussing how to create effective plans tailored to the various types of fund-raising available to libraries.
