FREE Web-based Online Classes for Public Library Staff

In collaboration with the Connecticut State Library, LYRASIS offering 30 FREE web-based, live online classes to public library staff in Connecticut.  These programs are provided with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Opportunity Online Hardware Grant program.  LYRASIS  is also making them available to 6 other states (MA, ME, NC, NJ, NH, and RI).  Classes begin September 27 and are finished by mid-November.

*Limited seating is available. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.*

Subjects being presented include:  advocacy skills, basic survey design, managing e-resources, social networking tools, library services going mobile, open source and other technology trends. Dates, times and description are listed below.
