OCLC: Shine A Light On Your Digital Collections

By Kris | September 20th, 2010 | Comment?

Hear how Michael Scott, Maryland Digital Cultural Heritage Coordinator, promotes their digital collections. Michael will talk about how she uses everything from blogs and other social media to WorldCat.org to highlight the availability of their online collections.

Also learn more about the wide variety of ways that other libraries, museums and archives use to increase awareness and to promote their digital collections from Suzanne Butte, OCLC Digital Services Consultant. In addition, Suzanne will explain how you can you upload metadata of digitized collections from any OAI-compliant repository to WorldCat to create greater visibility –and spotlight them—on the Web.
