TSL: Best Practices in Library Fundraising

Library Strategies consultant and President of The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library, Peter Pearson, will present strategies for implementing a comprehensive fundraising program to support your library. Pearson’s program will be based on the successful activities of libraries and library organizations across the nation. Topics will include: cultivating individual donors, annual campaigns, corporate sponsorships, special events, planned giving and much more.

Peter Pearson has been President of The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library for over 18 years and lead consultant with Library Strategies. Peter is recognized as a national expert on advocacy, Friends and Foundations and fundraising for libraries. In 2005, Peter was elected to the American Library Association’s Advocacy Honor Roll. He chaired the Americans for Libraries Council and has served on the boards of FOLUSA, LAMA and Libraries for the Future.
