A workshop sponsored by the Connecticut State Library, Division of Library Development and the CLA ADA Committee

Learn how the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) affects you as an employer, employee, a person with a disability or a provider of library services. Stan Kosloski from ADA Coalition of CT will give you an overview of the ADA with emphasis on recently enacted amendments. Learn who is covered by the ADA, and how to accommodate people with physical as well as hidden disabilities including chemical sensitivities. The overview will include Title I (employment), II (State and local governments), and III (public accommodations). This will be a refresher for some of you and a good introduction for others. Bring your questions!

Who should attend?
Library personnel, trustees, town officials, consultants, and architects
