Two $500 scholarships from FLAG

Fairfield County Library Administrators Group (FLAG) will award up to two $500 MLS scholarships again this year.  If you have had or have now a qualified applicant working at your library, please let him or her know about the scholarship.  The deadline for receipts of all application materials is March 1, 2010.

The criteria for all scholarship applicants are:

* Applicants must be matriculating MLS students at ALA Accredited Master’s Programs in Library and Information Studies (verification required).

* Applicants must work or have worked in a FLAG member library within the last five years (see below for a list).

Scholarship winners will be presented with the award at the CLA annual conference at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, April 19 & 20, 2010.  Award recipients will receive free registration and lunch on awards day.
