Of Connecticut’s 195 public libraries, 180 successfully completed the Annual Report 2007/2008 and Application for State Grant 2008/2009.  All principal public libraries submitted their reports before the deadline on November 15 and are now eligible to receive the State Grant.  Thanks go out to all the Library Directors and others for their efforts to compile and report their library’s statistics for FY2008.

Besides providing important statistics to the federal government, the results of this survey will be published in print and online as Connecticut’s Public Libraries: A Statistical Profile.  The 2006/2007 edition is available now.  The new edition will come out in early spring.
