Are you finding it hard to keep up with what is new in libraries? Are you tired of sifting through all those emails from discussion lists just to find out if that course on Dreamweaver is going to be offered? The RSS feed is for you.
Maybe you are one of those people who like to see what’s new on WebJunction Connecticut, but you just never get around to checking the site very often. Maybe you try to check on the New Professional Titles at the Service Centers, or the Current Connecticut Workshops which shows the upcoming workshops sponsored by the State Library, or you often look at the Workshop and Events Calendar for upcoming events of all kinds. What all these resources have in common is an available RSS feed. These feeds to your RSS aggregator will let you know when there are updates to these resources and provide links to them.
All subject categories in WebJunction have these RSS feeds, so look for the orange RSS feed icon on the WebJunction subjects you have an interest in. If you need more information on how to take advantage of RSS feeds, go to WebJunction RSS Feeds and find out how it all works. And if you haven’t done so already, subscribe to this Blog’s feed!
